Milepost. Early to mid-C19. Cast iron. Triangular section with chamfered top. Superscribed serif lettering. Top: " B. CHURCH/PARISH", left-hand side: "SALOP/6 MILES" and right-hand side: "B. CHURCH/2 1/4 MILES". One of a series of mileposts on the Shrewsbury - Baschurch road<1>
