The records below, relating to estates in Kinlet, Neen Savage, Cleobury Mortimer, Stottesdon, Chetton, Whitton, Quatt and Bridgnorth have been taken from these.

A. 7157. Release by Henry de Kingeshomede, to Sir Brian de Bromtone, of all the land which Adam, his brother, bequeathed to him and Isabella his sister, in Methene. C. 7812. Covenant by Roger Hollande of Whittbatch, yeoman, that if Henry Vernon of Stokesaye, esquire, shall have demised to Rowland Hardinge the moiety of 40a. land in Dodmore within the fees of Clibbury Martimer and Staunton Lacy, he will not on that account put in execution a statute merchant acknowledged before Thomas Blashffield and John Crowther, bailiffs of Ludlowe and keepers of the greater part of the seal of the said statute, and Francis Jenkes, gentleman, the Queen's clerk there, and keeper of the lesser part of the same. 2 March, 28 Elizabeth. Wrickton and Walkerslow in Stottesdon
A. 6539. Copy of the court roll of a court held at Wrycton and Walkyslaw at which William Bullocke of Sydnall, John Bullock his brother, and Joan, William's wife, took of Edward Rawley, esquire, the lord, two pastures called 'Walcam Wood' and 'Smythes Leys' in Walkyslaw, the said William to have two parts of the said pastures for his life, and the said John to have the third part for William's life, after whose death the said John and Joan are to have the said two pastures for their lives, and after their decease Elizabeth, William's daughter, is to have the said pastures for her life, according to the custom of the said manor; the tenants not 'to toppe' any tree which is more than fourteen inches in circumference, &c. 18 January, 33 Henry VIII.

Whitton and Faintree
A. 12545. Indenture, 10 March, 37 Elizabeth, between 'Frauncis' Whitton, of Whitton, co. Salope, gentleman, of the one part, and Jarrett Whorwood, of Compton, co. Stafford, William Gateger, of Gateger, co. Salope, Thomas Odell, of Compton aforesaid, 'Frauncis' Hill, of 'the Walle House,' co. Salope, Thomas Powys, of Snitton, co. Salope, gentlemen, and Thomas Lane, of Hope Bagotte, co. Salope, of the other, witnessing that the said 'Frauncis' by indenture dated 3 May, 35 Elizabeth, for making a jointure for his now wife Elizabeth, enfeoffed the said Thomas Powys and Thomas Lane of the site and chief mansion house, &c. in Whitton then and now in his own occupation, with the land, &c. appurtenant called 'the demeane landes of Whitton, to the use of the said Elizabeth for life, with remainder to the use of himself and the heirs male of his body, with remainder in default to the use of his right heirs, with a proviso that if, after the decease of Jane Whitton, widow, his mother, he, or any of his heirs, enfeoffed the said Thomas and Thomas of the capital messuage, tenement and farm of Overfayntry, co. Salop, with lands in Over and Nether Fayntry, to the use of the said Elizabeth for life in lieu of jointure, with remainder to his right heirs, that then her estate in Whitton should be void; and that the said Jane his mother died 17 February last; now, in accordance with the said proviso, he enfeoffs the said parties of the second of the said farm, &c. to the above uses, English.
