Artist Phil Kenning was commissioned in 2008 to produce an aerial view of the Llanymynech Limeworks Heritage Area and its surrounds as it would have looked in 1901 at the time of greatest lime production. You can interact with the map by clicking on its hotspots which zoom into more detailed maps of the chief areas of interest. Hotspots on these maps link in turn to a huge archive of information about the many sites within the Limeworks Heritage Area built up by Heritage Project Officer Peter Dunhill and his team of volunteers.
